What Ever Happened To These Forgotten NBA Players?
Larry Johnson
90’s NBA star and pop-culture phenomenon Larry “Grandmama” Johnson dominated opponents as a member of the Charlotte Hornets and New York Knicks for 10 seasons. A powerfully-athletic yet deftly-skilled forward, Johnson was the first pick in the 1991 NBA Draft, before going on to make two All-Star teams and 1992 NBA Rookie of the Year. In 2012, the Knicks owner James Dolan hired Johnson to work as basketball and business operations representative. Johnson can be seen around Madison Square Garden, where he still attends most Knicks home games.
