What Ever Happened To These Forgotten NBA Players?
Vin Baker
Vin Baker was one of the NBA’s best power forwards of the 1990s, at one point making four straight All-Star teams, and winning a gold medal with Team USA in the 2000 Summer Olympics. Baker made over $100 million during his playing career, but a series of poor financial decisions and struggles with alcohol abuse caused him to squander most of that fortune. Luckily Baker stopped drinking completely in 2011. After turning up on social media as the manager of a Connecticut Starbucks, Baker rejoined his old team, the Milwaukee Bucks, first as a television analyst, before becoming an assistant coach in 2018.
