What Ever Happened To These Forgotten NBA Players?

Penny Hardway

90’s basketball icon Penny Hardaway was on his way towards becoming one of the game’s all-time greats. The four-time All-Star partnered with Shaquille O’Neal to turn the Orlando Magic into an emerging dynasty, beating Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the playoffs and taking the previously-hapless franchise to the 1995 NBA Finals. However, Shaq left for the Lakers just a season later, and eventually, injuries ravaged Hardaway’s game, forcing him to retire from the NBA in 2007. Since then, Hardaway has returned to his hometown of Memphis and started coaching. He is about to start his second season as the Head Coach at the University of Memphis, his alma mater, where he will bring in the #1 recruiting class in the nation this season.
