What Ever Happened To These Forgotten NBA Players?

Darko Milicic

It wasn’t Darko’s fault that the Pistons selected him 2nd overall in the 2003 NBA Draft, ahead of the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. Even so, the hype surrounding Darko’s selection is why he will go down as one of the biggest draft busts in NBA history. Darko would go on to average just 6.0 PPG before ending his NBA tenure in 2012, and moving into an entirely different field… a cherry field. After a brief career as a kickboxer, Milicic moved back to his native Serbia, where he owns and operates a successful agriculture business on his 125-acre farm exporting cherries and apples around the world.
